This is a publishing oddity, quite likely one of a kind. The copyright page and title page show that this is a Guild Publishing book club edition, from the second impression of the first edition. The spine of the book says Allen & Unwin, though, as does the unpriced dustjacket. For condition, the book has no real faults, it just isn't clean enough to be fine condition. The dustjacket was clearly removed at some point, as it has been folded in half horizontally, and multiple times vertically, the creases are clearly visible. There is edge wear and chipping to most extremities.
